| Workplace Stars

The STAR Workplace & Trustmark Registry is open to all employers with ten or more full or part-time employees. It is non-competitive, except against established standards of both high performance and workplace excellence.

Companies undergo a comprehensive ORG360 process in order to receive a STAR Trustmark. A STAR Workplace must demonstrate outstanding commitment to listening to their marketplace, employees, and customers. These companies improve their competitive advantage through people practices that lead to successful outcomes.
 

Participating companies are assessed in the following areas:

• Trust in Senior Leaders
• People and management practices
• Service to others
• Open and honest communication between employees and managers
• Employee loyalty and retention
• Individual accountability and execution driving results as a team.
• Employee growth and learning opportunities
• Interesting and challenging work

Two criteria are used to determine if a company will receive a STAR Trustmark, and at what level:

(a) ORG360 Participation Minimums

(b) Average STAR Workplace Levels

	4.61 - 5.00 - 5-star level
	4.21 - 4.60 - 4-star level
	3.81 - 4.20 - 3-star level
	3.41 - 3.80 - 2-star level
	3.01 - 3.40 - 1-star level
	<= 3.00 - not rated -below star level

To use the STAR Trustmark, companies are required to:

• Register for a ORG360 where the company is located;
• Provide Workplace Stars with detailed registration information regarding company's demographic profile and contact information;
• Achieve an ORG360 score of at least 3.01 on a 5.0 scale;
• Agree to allow Workplace Stars to disclose key ORG360 results online;
• Apply for STAR Workplace Trustmark every 12 months.

It is important to remember that a company's participation in the STAR Trustmark program does not guarantee you will be satisfied with its product or service. It does not guarantee it is a STAR Workplace or is an excellent place to work now or in the future.
